Since WRF 4.6, the considerations of distributed urban parameters have become possible. The urban parameters of concern are the roughness parameters for momentum and heat, the sky-view factors, and the anthropogenic heat emissions. The former relies on the bulk parametrization of transfer coefficients for urban canopies. They are intended for the single-layer urban canopy model. The instructions for running them and the static data (distributed) can be found here and here, respectively. They were prepared by Dr. Do Ngoc Khanh as part of his doctoral dissertation. It is possible to override the static data with more realistic information.
